Emma got the spotlight this Christmas and had a blast. I think she tore into the presents this year faster then normal. About 8am she started barking and begging to get into stuff and wouldn’t stop until we gave her something to open

We are sitting here with two hours until the shuttle launch. I know this picture doesn’t really show anything, but the little light in the middle is the shuttle. I will post the real pictures once I download them.

The New Board

Since holly and I moved to Florida, we have wanted a LandShark surf board. After we found out how much they cost, we decided to look for one one Criag’s list, talk to friends that work at bars, and even tried to bribe a bartender for one. Well last week a good friend from MN. Came through for us. John was able to get one for us, and didn’t tell us. We found out when holly for home from work and found it freshly delivered by UPS.

While I have never been much for fishing, we have a friend in town from MN. that loves to fish. So john armed with a shore pole and holly and I with chairs hit Spessard Holland beach this weekend to see what we could catch. Well everything was too small and had to go back, but at one point john had a good little fight going on and when he finally got it reeled in, it turned out he caught a little bonnet or shovel head shark. The little guy put up a good fight before we could get him back in the water. Once we did, it turned around as came right back at us. I am sure it was just in shock still, but it looked like he wanted a piece of us

Just over one month after I started this blog, I am making my first real post. OK, so I’m slow to start.

I hit my two year anniversary in Florida last week and Holly’s is only a few weeks off. I really do love it here, but I think we need to get out and see more of Florida. In two years I have been to Orlando twice (not counting the parks or airport), two parks (Sea World and Universal), drove to Ft. Lauderdale to drop someone off for a cruse, and one night in Islamorada. Since moving here I have seen more places outside of Florida then in Florida.

I think we need to make a list of places we want to go and start working at crossing them off. This state is tall, but not that wide. We need to make more days trips. I think I need to convince Holly that we should go to the gulf side in the next week or two. That would be a good start.
